MARBLE HILL -- Memorial service for Lisa Jones of Cologne, Germany, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Marble Hill. Her husband, Dr. Terry Jones, will officiate.
Jones, 42, died from a heart attack Thursday, June 6, 1996, in Cologne.
She was born Feb. 20, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of George R. and Berniece Hawkins Barker. She and Terry Dale Jones were married March 29, 1971.
Dr. and Mrs. Jones were ministers in Germany. They founded five churches in Germany. She also had a music ministry, ministry for battered women, and a ministry to feed the homeless.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jennifer Lee of Cologne, Emma Jones of the home; a son, Luke Jones of the home; her parents of Marble Hill; two sisters, Joyce "Jodi" Thompson of Jackson and Rebecca "Becki" Massengale of Marble Hill.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
