Linus E. Angle, 83, 1518 Kurre Lane, died Friday, Dec. 22, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Feb. 27, 1912, at Scopus, son of Jesse A. and Tisha Limbaugh Angle. He and Marie Bates were married Nov. 23, 1938, at Jackson.
Angle was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Freewill Baptist Church. He served in the Battle of the Bulge in the European Theater during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Dale Angle of Delta, Joe Angle of Cape Girardeau; five sisters, Maggie Howell of Arkansas, Lola Angle of Marble Hill, Viola Kinder of Delta, Flora Mouser and Louise Williams of Granite City, Ill.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Wes Rider officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
