ADVANCE, Mo. -- Linus E. Bock, 89, of Advance died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 26, 1912, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Carl and Carrie Gluckhertz Bock. He and Geraldine White were married May 5, 1932. She died Jan. 18, 1986. He later married Violet Noble May 7, 1987.
Bock was a retired farmer. He was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Judy Nilsen of Sturdivant, Mo.; a stepson, Ron Noble of Advance; a stepdaughter, Joyce Bell of Protem, Mo.; a brother, Lyman Bock of Sacramento, Calif.; three grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 18 great-stepgrandchildren; and three great-great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, a daughter, and two brothers.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with J.D. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
