BERNIE, Mo. -- Linnie May Coffman, 85, of Bernie died Saturday, May 12, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital. She was born March 9, 1916, at Bernie, daughter of William Clinton and Ellen Taylor Dowdy. She and Garland O'Neil Coffman were married in November 1934. He died Sept. 11, 1971...
BERNIE, Mo. -- Linnie May Coffman, 85, of Bernie died Saturday, May 12, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 9, 1916, at Bernie, daughter of William Clinton and Ellen Taylor Dowdy. She and Garland O'Neil Coffman were married in November 1934. He died Sept. 11, 1971.
Coffman was a member of the Bernie Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty McClane of Bernie; a sister, Lena Lindsey of Indianapolis, Ind.; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.
Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie from 5-8 p.m. Monday.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Stan Dauck will officiate, with burial in Bernie Cemetery.
