LINDSAY HARRIS STOCKMAN

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. - Lindsay Harris Stockman, 73, of Scottsboro, Ala., formerly of East Prairie, died Wednesday, May 11, 1994, at the Birmingham, Ala. V. A. Medical Center.

Stockman was born Dec. 20, 1920 at East Prairie, son of James and Jesse Harris Stockman.

He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Scottsboro chapter.

He was married to Fern L. Owen. She preceded him in death May 13, 1986.

Survivors include a son, Weldon Stockman of Scottsboro; a brother, Roy Stockman of California; sister, Martha Ellis, Sikeston; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Graveside service will be held today at 1 p.m. at the Dogwood Cemetery with Brother Burl Britt, of the Full Gospel Church of East Prairie officiating.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
