DORENA -- Funeral service for Linden "Bud" Ray of Dorena will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Revs. Thomas Griffin and Ed Jolley will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ray, 64, died Monday, Aug. 8, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born March 23, 1930, in Dorena, son of Ed and Tressie Sutton Ray. He and Patsy Organ were married Dec. 11, 1954.
Ray was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Ray of East Prairie; a daughter, Linda Abner of Anniston; five brothers, Joe, Bill and Merl Ray of East Prairie, Bobby and Charlie Ray of Columbus, Ky.; a sister, Gladys Love of Phoenix, Ariz., and three grandchildren.
