ADVANCE, Mo. -- Linda "Geraldine" Wallace, 66, of Advance passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at her home. She was born Aug. 3, 1947, at White Oak, Mo., daughter of Wilburn Thomas and Audie Key McWhirter. Geraldine had been a seamstress at Thorngate Ltd. ADVANCE, Mo. -- Linda "Geraldine" Wallace, 66, of Advance passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at her home.
She was born Aug. 3, 1947, at White Oak, Mo., daughter of Wilburn Thomas and Audie Key McWhirter.
Geraldine had been a seamstress at Thorngate Ltd. She was a member of Varney Missionary Baptist Church, where she was baptized as a child.
Geraldine and Donald Wallace Sr. were married Oct. 19, 1963, at Frisbee, Mo. He preceded her in death May 29, 2000.

Survivors include two sons, Donald Wallace Jr. and Christopher Wallace of Advance; a daughter, Donna Meador of Advance; two brothers, Tom McWhirter of Las Vegas and Frankie McWhirter of Advance; and five grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery near Gipsy, Mo.
