LINDA NOYES

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Linda Carlene Noyes, 56, of Bloomfield died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 15, 1945, at Clines Island, Mo., daughter of Carl and Lenora Gooch Smith. She and Bob Noyes were married July 17, 1965.

Noyes was a graduate of Missouri Baptist School of Nursing in St. Louis. She was a nurse at Bloomfield Schools from 1974 until retiring in 1997. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Kent Noyes of St. Louis, Jay Noyes of Cape Girardeau; her mother of Dexter, Mo.; a brother, Don Smith of East Prairie, Mo.; a sister, Norma Beatty of Sullivan, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ron Dunavin officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
