Linda Marie Mittrucker, 50, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Sept. 26, 1961, in Quincy, Ill., to Oland and Mary Beth Brower Kraft. She and Jim Mittrucker were married Sept. 19, 1981, at St. Francis Church in Quincy.

Linda was a 1979 graduate of Quincy Senior High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville.

She was an office manager with Big River Resources. Linda was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and volunteered with St. Vincent's Youth Group. She was active with Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Knights of Columbus Council 11205 Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Mittrucker of Cape Girardeau; mother, Mary Beth Kraft of Quincy; a son, Matt Mittrucker (Megan Conrad) of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Laura Klipfel (Travis) and Sarah Mittrucker of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Nancy Kraft of Quincy, Barbara Carleton (Stephen) of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Taylor and T.J. Klipfel and Thomas Mittrucker; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at St. Vincent's Church. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kizito Wenani officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Boy Scouts of America or Special Olympics.
