Kelso, Mo. -- Linda Miederhoff, 65, passed away Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 30, 1954, in Sikeston, Missouri, daughter of Ann Brewer Shaver Byrd of Morley, Missouri and the late Quinton Shaver.
Linda was a member of Morley Church of Christ and had been a Girl Scout leader. She earned a bachelor's degree at Southeast Missouri State University and worked as a substitute teacher at area schools. She had been a resident of Chaffee Nursing Center for the past four years.
On July 2, 1975, at Shady Acres Church of Christ, she married Paul Miederhoff. He survives of the home in Kelso.
She is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul D. and Teresa Miederhoff of Fruitland; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah and Brian Willis of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Cheryl and Curtis Essner of Kelso; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Quinton L. Shaver Jr. of Morley and Terry and Becky Shaver of Bertrand, Missouri; sister, Brenda Lee Garver of Morley; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Ponder Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Bill Bradley, former pastor of Morley Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
