SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Linda Kaye Collier of Iuka, Kan., was held Wednesday at Southern Baptist Church in Pratt, Kan. The Revs. Judith Priest and Preston Harrison officiated, with burial in Iuka Cemetery. Larrison Mortuary of Pratt was in charge of arrangements.

Collier, 44, died Monday, June 22, 1992, at Wesley Regional Medical Center in Wichita, Kan.

She was born Nov. 9, 1947, at Poplar Bluff, daughter of Louie and Minnie Ivy Wheelis. She married Houston D. Collier Nov. 26, 1969, at Poplar Bluff.

The Colliers moved to Iuka in 1983 from Scott City. She was a cash office clerk at Wal-Mart.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Michael Collier of Wichita, Mark Collier of the home; two daughters, Misty and Marcie Collier of the home; a brother, Gary Wheelis of New London, Conn.; three sisters, Betty Palmer of St. Charles, Phylis Kohlenberger of Dupo, Ill., and Nancy Yarbrough of St. Louis.
