DEXTER, Mo. -- Linda S. Fowler, 55, of Dexter died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 25, 1945, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., daughter of Lloyd and Thelma Mossman Brown. She and Marion "Pete" Fowler were married Jan. 10, 1964, at Dudley, Mo. He died Dec. 11, 2000.
Fowler lived at Dexter all her life. She worked at Arvin Automotive the past several years. She also had worked at Elder Manufacturing, Blue Ribbon and Medler's Cleaners. She was affiliated with the General Baptist Church, and was a past member of Elks Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Tim Fowler of Dexter; her parents of Dexter; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating. Burial will be in Essex Cemetery at Essex, Mo.
