EAST PRAIRIE -- Linda Faye Boyer, 59, of East Prairie, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born June 6, 1939, in East Prairie, daughter of the late James W. Moore and Maggie Marshall Moore, who survives of East Prairie.
She had lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith.
On Aug. 8, 1958, she married Jerry G. Boyer. He survives.
She is also survived by two sons, Jerry C. and Monte Boyer, both of East Prairie; three daughters, Deborah F. Crowley and Lisa J. Tidwell, both of East Prairie, and Linda G. Hammontree of Hill Air Force Base, Utah; three brothers, Edward, Austin and Winston Moore, all of East Prairie; one sister, Shirley McClendon of East Prairie; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
One daughter preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Shelby Chapel with Raymond Grimes and James Day officiating. Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
