OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Linda Douglass, 56, of Memphis, Tenn., died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
She was born Nov. 27, 1948, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Albert and Doris Workman Greenley. She and Garnett Douglass were married March 25, 1977.
Douglass was formerly of Olive Branch and Cape Girardeau. She worked many years in customer service at Associated Building Center in Cape Girardeau. After moving to Memphis she worked at Ameristeel.
Survivors include her husband; a son, John Reid Abercrombie III of Jacksonville, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Tonya Wybert of Jackson; a sister, Sandra Reinke of Parker, Colo.; and a stepgrandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes, Ill.
