Lily Mandrell, 70, of Fort Worth, Texas, died Thursday, April 5, 2001, in Fort Worth.
She was born March 11, 1931, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Willard David Mandrell and Ruby Probst Hobbs.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Fisher of Fort Worth, Miriam Thompson of Prattsville, Ark.; four sisters, Blanche Mandrell Swinford of Brownwood, Mo., Vivian Burton and Wilma Mandrell of Centralia, Ill., Norma Hobbs of Jackson, Mo.; four brothers, John Hobbs of Foristell, Mo., Lou and Darrell Hobbs of Jackson, Louie Hobbs of Fruitland, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, father, mother, stepmother, stepfather, two brothers, and a sister.
A memorial service was held April 9 at Landing Clubhouse of Eagle Mountain Lake in Fort Worth.
A second memorial service was held April 12 at Williams Cemetery in Perkins, Mo. The Rev. J.D. Smith officiated.
