LILY M. SLINKARD

PATTON -- Lily M. Slinkard, 89, of Marquand, died Friday Dec. 23, 1994 at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born at Marble Hill Aug. 14, 1905, the daughter of Amos and Paralee Devault Rhodes.

On Nov. 8, 1925 she married Gale Slinkard, who preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 1988.

Survivors include: two sons, Hobert Slinkard of Fredericktown, and Owen Joy Slinkard of St. Paul, Minn.; two sisters, Iona Hedge of Advance, and Gladys Adamson of Sikeston; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

She was a homemaker and a member of Little Whitewater Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

Services will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Roy Michaels and Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in the Patton Cemetery.
