PUXICO -- Funeral service for Lillie Teets of Puxico will be held at 10 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico. The Rev. Kenneth Lambert will officiate, with burial in Puxico Cemetery.
Teets, 90, died Sunday, June 30, 1996, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
She was born Feb. 28, 1906, at Dale, daughter of Charles and Amanda Kesterson Duren. She and Lester Teets were married Feb. 28, 1951. He preceded her in death.
Teets had lived in the Puxico community all her life. She was a member of Puxico General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Eva Richard of Puxico.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
