Lillie Florence Schilling, 91, of Jackson died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at Friendship Manor in Nashville, Illinois.
She was born Sept. 16, 1927, in Pocahontas to August William and Ella Emma Schroeder Schattauer. She and Clarence Shilling were married Dec. 28, 1951, at Murphysboro, Illinois. He preceded her in death March 29, 1994.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Skiles of Odin, Illinois; a grandchild, Kasey (Erica) Koenegstein of Jackson; and two great-grandchildren, Malerie Harris and Kinley Koenegstein.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Betty Schilling; a son-in-law, Johnny Skiles Sr.; and a brother, Lloyd (Erna) Schattauer.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow at noon Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jason Shaw officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund.
