BALLWIN -- Lillie M. Brotherton, formerly of Patton, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 1997, at her home in Ballwin. She was 67 years old.

She was born in Sedgewickville Sept. 3, 1930, daughter of Otis and Ida Mae Seabaugh Johnston. On Oct. 10, 1947, she married Obia L. Brotherton. He died June 21, 1970.

Survivors include five daughters, Trudy Cantanzaro, Tina Kelley, Tammy Barrett, Trica Cullinane and Thea Brotherton, all of the St. Louis area; two sons, Gary and Richard Brotherton, both of the St. Louis area; two sisters, Lucy Cook of Sedgewickville and Bertha Gilmer of Scott City; five brothers, James Johnston of the St. Louis area, Linus, Sam, Everett and Leroy Johnston, all of Jackson; and her grandmother.

She was preceded in death by a son.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lang-Fenler Funeral Home in Arnold. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks.
