MORLEY, Mo. -- Lillie Jane Learue, 89, of Morley died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2001, at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born Jan. 1, 1912, at Braggadocio, Mo., daughter of Elihue and Permelia Vaughn Clayton. She and Walter Herman Learue were married March 17, 1927. He died Nov. 26, 1974.
Learue was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, J.L. Learue of Morley, Walter Herman Learue of Florissant, Mo., William Scott Learue of Dexter, Mo.; a daughter, Nettie McMillan of Hopkinsville, Ky.; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a great-grandson, three brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bob Burnes officiating. Burial will be in Mounds Cemetery at New Madrid, Mo.
