SIKESTON -- Lillie James, 89, of Sikeston, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 1, 1904, in Bethel Springs, Tenn., daughter of Tab and Cora King Russom. She and C.J. James were married May 29, 1921, in Bethel Springs. He died March 14, 1983.
She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church here.
Survivors include three daughters, Novell Milani of St. Louis, Maydell Thompson of Sikeston, Bonnie Bracey of Portageville; eight sons, Odis, Joe, O.J., Sonny, A.C., Cletus, Jackie and Bill James, all of Sikeston; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers, three sisters and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Billie Butler will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
