MORLEY, Mo. -- Lillie Mae Hopper, 89, of Morley died Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.
She was born July 17, 1911, in Savannah, Tenn., daughter of Andrew and Leora Isley Deshazier. She and William P. Hopper were married Aug. 8, 1939, in Savannah. He died May 18, 1987.
Survivors include four sons, Granville Deshazier and Berle Hopper of Morley, James Hopper of Benton, Mo., Merle Hopper of Oran, Mo.; two daughters, Mable King of Sikeston, Mo., Margaret Green of Oran; a sister, Lennie Anderson of Savannah; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, and two stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Don Russell officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
