Lillie Loyd Davis, 98, of Nashville, Tenn., died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008. Mrs. Davis lived the majority of her life in Cape Girardeau and was a long-standing member of Red Star Baptist Church before moving to Nashville. Survivors include a son-in-law, LeRoy McClard of Nashville; two granddaughters, Cindy (David) Willard of Dyersburg, Tenn., Julie (Wesley) Miller of Nashville; four great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews...

Mrs. Davis lived the majority of her life in Cape Girardeau and was a long-standing member of Red Star Baptist Church before moving to Nashville.

Survivors include a son-in-law, LeRoy McClard of Nashville; two granddaughters, Cindy (David) Willard of Dyersburg, Tenn., Julie (Wesley) Miller of Nashville; four great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Lee Davis; wonderful daughter, Christine McClard; three brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with David Willard officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Miller, Mark Willard, Matthew Willard, Mark Jones, John Kronmueller and Ken Kronmueller.
