LILLIE B. BRIGHT

EAST PRAIRIE - Lillie Bell Wright, 84, of Whiting, near East Prairie, died Friday, July 1, 1994 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born April 15, 1910, in Cherry Valley, Ark., to Holden and Luticia Lampkins Sides.

On Aug. 19, 1928, she married Oscar Bright. He preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1990.

Survivors include three sons, Joe Bright and David Bright, both of East Prairie, and Jessie Bright of Anniston; three daughters, Marie Bright, Allene Jackson, and Geraldine Byassee, all of East Prairie; one sister, Leona Foster of Houston, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, one grandson, and one sister.

Bright was a long-time resident of Mississippi County, and a member of the Baptist faith.

Friends may call at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie until time of funeral services today.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., today, at the Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie, with Brother Burl Britt officiating. Burial will be in the Dogwood Cemetery, near East Prairie.
