PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Lillian Alma Thompson, 82, of Perryville died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, at her home.
She was born Feb. 23, 1924, in Detroit, Mich., daughter of Noel Everett and Hazel Eugas Johnson. She and Ralph M. Thompson were married Jan. 1, 1943, in St. Louis.
Thompson was a member of Whitewater Christian Church in Perry County, and had been a Sunday school teacher in the Adult Department.
Survivors include her husband; six sons, David, Clark, Jim, Danny and Lonnie Thompson, all of Perryville, Stanley Thompson of Guthrie, Okla.; three daughters, Mary Ann Thompson of Cape Girardeau, Diana Lukefahr and Donna Hudson of Perryville; a sister, Eileen Thompson of Farmington, Mo.; a brother, Danny Johnson of Perryville; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Thompson donated her body to science.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at Whitewater Christian Church, with Alan Martin and Keith McCrary officiating.
