Lillian Emma Stehr, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Jan. 17, 1909, at Gordonville, daughter of Jacob and Emma Siemers Schwab. She and Edger R. Stehr were married Sept. 18, 1932, at Gordonville. He died April 28, 1953...

Lillian Emma Stehr, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Jan. 17, 1909, at Gordonville, daughter of Jacob and Emma Siemers Schwab. She and Edger R. Stehr were married Sept. 18, 1932, at Gordonville. He died April 28, 1953.

Stehr was clerk of Common Pleas Court 12 years, and sold real estate, securities and insurance 25 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Trinity Guild. She had been active in Trinity Lutheran School PTA.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Joan Stehr of Cape Girardeau; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Stehr of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, Lori Arden of Austin, Texas, Cassie Lynn Stehr of Charlotte, N.C., Mark Stehr of Dallas, Paul Stehr of Houston, Texas, Terri Lee Hinkebein of Charlotte, Staci Jo Johnson of Raleigh, N.C.; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Stehr; her parents, five brothers, and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the chapel. The Rev. Douglas C. Breite will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Richard Hinkebein, Greg Johnson, Eric Arden, Don Werner, Don Koch, Walter Ford, Dub Suedekum and John Stehr.
