Lillian H. Ruesler, 96, of Friedheim died Thursday, May 6, 2004, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson.
She was born Nov. 30, 1907, at Friedheim, daughter of Emil and Sibilla Kayser Hobeck. She and Walter Ruesler were married Nov. 9, 1927, in Friedheim. He died Dec. 31, 1971.
Ruesler farmed with her husband many years, and was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Clemen Ruesler of Waterloo, Ill., Marvin Ruesler of Friedheim; a daughter, Nelda Sowell of Friedheim; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Saturday after 8:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. David Burge officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
