Lillian Elizabeth Little, 93, of Scott City, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 10, 1916, at Fornfelt, Mo., daughter of William George and Pauline Elizabeth Eifert Sander. She married Theodore Scott Little on Oct. 3, 1936. He preceded her in death Oct. 2, 1964.
She was a founding member of Father's Arms Fellowship in Scott City. She had worked as a machine operator at Ely Walker and served as president of United Garment Workers Local No. 900.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry (Myrna) Little of Kelso, Mo., and Dean Little of Scott City; a daughter-in-law, Carol Little of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Wanda McCord of St. Louis, Marilyn Graham of O'Fallon, Mo., and Jackie Metzger of Wright City, Mo.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two honorary grandchildren; and an honorary great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Don Little; a great grandchild; a brother; and six sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenny Strong officiating.
Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
