Lillian Mary Lawrence, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, May 3, 1998, at her home. She was born March 23, 1915, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Joseph and Mary Miget. She and George R. Lawrence were married Oct. 26, 1935. He died July 24, 1965. Lawrence worked at St. Francis Hospital 15 years, and was Ward 2 election judge the past few years. She was a lifetime resident of Cape Girardeau except for three years in Richmond, Calif. Lawrence was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church...

Lillian Mary Lawrence, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, May 3, 1998, at her home.

She was born March 23, 1915, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Joseph and Mary Miget. She and George R. Lawrence were married Oct. 26, 1935. He died July 24, 1965.

Lawrence worked at St. Francis Hospital 15 years, and was Ward 2 election judge the past few years. She was a lifetime resident of Cape Girardeau except for three years in Richmond, Calif. Lawrence was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.

Survivors include three sons, Gerald, Richard and Tom Lawrence, all of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Sharon Webb of Jackson, Janet Berghold of Bonne Terre; four sisters, Louise Willard, Lunette Willer and Sylvia Schuette, all of Cape Girardeau, Mae Flynn of Perryville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 4:30.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
