Lillian R. Kies, 97, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Oct. 3, 1910, in Jackson, daughter of Joseph E. and Rosina Schneider Kies.
Kies was a graduate of Jackson High School and attended the former Cape Business College.
She supervised the operations of the family farms in Cape Gir-ardeau and Scott counties and was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ.
Survivors include three cousins, David Kies Sr. and Mary Masters of Cape Girardeau and Doris May of Lacy, Wash.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
There is no visitation.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson. The Rev. Dan Johnson will officiate.
Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
