Lillian Kaempfer

Lillian Mae Kaempfer, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 10, 1925, in Advance, Mo., to Luther and Gertrude Bass Swinford. She and Gerald Kaempfer were married in 1966 in Cape Girardeau.

Lillian was a member of Word of Faith Fellowship.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Kaempfer of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Robert Westbrook (Nancy) of Festus, Mo., and Tom Westbrook (Anita) of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Geneva Wolfenkoehler of Cape Girardeau and Shirley Surlet (John) of Chandler, Texas; a brother, Bill Swinford of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Lester, Eugene and Bob Swinford.

Friends may call from noon to time of service today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with Dr. Fred Burgard officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
