Lillian K. Barringer, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 19, 1998 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born January 20, 1919, at Marion, IL, daughter of Rev. C..E., and Almeda Walker Barringer.
Miss Barringer graduated from Central High School and Southeast Missouri College in 1940 with a degree in Business. She worked with the department of the Navy in Washington, D.C. and New York. Later she was employed and retired from Dunn & Bradstreet. She returned to Cape Girardeau in 1992.
Survivors include one sister, Clara B. Engman of Atlanta, Ga; two sisters-in-law, Arlinda McElreath and Aileen Loos, both of Cape Girardeau and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon C. and Ava E. Barringer.
There will be no visitation. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lick Creek, Ill., on Tuesday, April 21, 1998 at 3:30 p.m.
