ADVANCE -- Lillian M. Davis, 90, of Advance died Sunday, July 12, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 24, 1907, at Hahn, daughter of Alex and Cora Day Evans. She and John Davis were married Jan. 24, 1924, at Illmo. He died April 23, 1958.
Davis was a member of Advance United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Henry "Sonny" Davis of Warner Robins, Ga., John Davis Jr. of Kingsport, Tenn.; two daughters, Lawatta Walk of McGee, Nedra Dobbs of Advance; two half brothers, Landis Beal of Arab, Jim Beal of Advance; 27 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three daughters, a brother, a sister, a grandson, two great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Watis Harrell and James Brice officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
