LILLIAN CUNNINGHAM

CHAFFEE -- Lillian Ruth Cunningham, 80, of Chaffee died Thursday, July 9, 1998, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born June 21, 1918, at Allenville, daughter of John and Kathryn Gramlisch Spradling. She and William "Jugo" Cunningham were married Jan. 9, 1943. He died Sept. 22, 1972.

Cunningham had worked at Chaffee Nutrition Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star No. 48, Business and Professional Women, and Ladies Auxiliary to UTU.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen Cunningham of Plano, Texas, Thomas Cunningham of Chaffee; a daughter, Linda Wessel of Chaffee; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. An Eastern Star service will be conducted at 7 by Morley Lodge 342.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gerald Collier officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
