Lillian Mae Caldwell, 85, Cape Girardeau Route 2, died Friday, Jan. 9, 1998, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born July 15, 1912, at Commerce, daughter of Harry and Lue Retta O'Guinn Rasberry. She and Oscar F. "Shorty" Caldwell were married June 18, 1931, at Benton. He died June 28, 1995.
Caldwell was a bookkeeper 30 years at Buckner-Ragsdale Co. She was a former member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Commerce.
Survivors include a son, Larry Caldwell of Scott City; and a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at the chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Jim King will officiate, with burial in Oakdale Cemetery at Commerce.
