LILLIAN B. BIERK

PERRYVILLE -- Lillian B. Bierk, 88, of Perryville, died Monday, March 27, 1995, at Perry Oaks Healthcare Center.

She was born July 4, 1906, in St. Louis, daughter of Henry and Mary Sauer Meer. She and Thomas L. "Roy" Bierk were married in 1935. He died Sept. 4, 1958.

Bierk was office manager at John F. Swift Printing Business 30 years, and had also been a cook at St. Vincent's High School. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, and former member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church at Brewer.

Survivors include a son, Thomas Bierk of Perryville, and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-9:45 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
