ALTENBURG -- Lilian Leimbach Heinbokel, 85, of Altenburg died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Jan. 16, 1913, in Perry County, daughter of Paul and Martha Weinhold Lueders. She first married Walter P. Leimbach Nov. 10, 1935. He died July 7, 1974. She and Edgar Heinbokel were married June 16, 1996. He died Jan. 5, 1998.
Heinbokel was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, its Ladies Aid, and former member of the choir. She also was a member of the Golden Age Club.
Survivors include three sons, Alvin Leimbach of DesPeres, Ken and Dennis Leimbach of Frohna; two stepdaughters, Carole Heinbokel of Cape Girardeau, Emily Burroughs of St. Louis; and a stepson, Allen Heinbokel of St. Louis.
Also surviving are three sisters, Meta Petzoldt of Frohna, Martha Hemmann of Midway, Ark., Helen Lutz of Chicago; a brother, Theophil Lueders of Creve Coeur; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and a great-stepgrandson.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 5-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-8 a.m.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Church. The Rev. Charles Weber will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
