JONESBORO, Ill. -- Lewis M. Goodman, 90, of Jonesboro died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at the Jonesboro Healthcare Center.
He was born Dec. 3, 1903, at Jonesboro, son of James Monroe and Della Lilly Miller Goodman. He and Ethel Hileman were married Aug. 24, 1939, at Jackson, Mo.
He worked as a farmer and was employed by Transcraft in Anna prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Church of Nazarene at Anna.
Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Gillespie of Anna and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, four brothers and six sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hileman and Parr Funeral Services at Jonesboro.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The Rev. Ralph Lee will officiate, with burial at St. Johns Cemetery.
