JACKSON -- Letta Lou Elwess, 67, of Modesto, Calif., died Saturday, April 12, 1997, at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
She was born April 5, 1930, at Jackson.
Elwess had lived in Modesto since 1961. She was an industrial nurse, and had worked at Gallo Winery in Modesto 20 years.
Survivors include four sons, Billie Hamilton Jr. of Brownsville, Calif., Michael Hamilton of Lodi, Calif., David and Jonathan Hamilton of Modesto; a daughter, Judy Padilla of Modesto; a brother, Donald Cox of Jackson; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Franklin and Downs Ceres Chapel in Ceres, Calif., from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Hughson, Calif.
