JACKSON -- Letis N. Rodgers, 66, of Jackson, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1993, at Vencor Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born May 28, 1927, daughter of Jesse and Alma Perkins Morlan. She and Orville Rodgers were married Aug. 5, 1947.
Rodgers worked at International Shoe Co. here 20 years. She was a member of Good Life Fellowship Church at Gordonville, and worked in its daycare facility.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Rodgers of Whitewater, Douglas Rodgers of Bakersfield, Calif.; two daughters, Patricia Applebee of Holand, Texas, Carolyn Brotherton of Jackson; four brothers, Tom Morlan of Bernie, Harold Morlan of Columbia, S.C., J.W. Morlan of Idalia, Gene Morlan of Indiana; six sisters, Goldie Biggers of Searcy, Ark., Juanita Maze of Dexter, Wilma Black and Celesta Wise of St. Charles, Ill., Viola Bouldry of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Florence Hammonds of Kansas; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Good Life Church. The Rev. Rick Price will officiate, with burial in Bernie Cemetery at Bernie.
