PATTON -- Letha M. Harwell, 73, of Patton, died Monday, July 1, 1991, at Doctors' Regional Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
She was born April 9, 1918, at Belleview, daughter of John and Virgie Jaycox Enders. She married Harold Harwell Nov. 16, 1938.
The Harwells moved to this area in 1978 from St. Louis. She was a member and organist at Liberty Congregational Methodist Church near Marquand.
Survivors include her husband; a son, James Harwell of Poplar Bluff; a daughter, Carol Tarrance of Patton; two brothers, Ivan and Edward Harwell of St. Louis; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Liberty Church. The Revs. Jerry Sander and Darold Mills will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 9 a.m. until noon.
