MESLER -- Funeral for Letha Cockrell of Mesler will be held at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. The Rev. Frank Husted will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bell City.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until service time.

Cockrell, 88, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born Nov. 12, 1910, in Marmaduke, Ark., daughter of Ceasar and Siddie Payne Cockrell.

Cockrell was a member of Bell City United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Dorothy Cockrell of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.
