PATTON, Mo. -- Lester Odell Fulbright, 84, of St. Louis, formerly of Marble Hill, Mo., died Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at the Tipton Oak Manor in Tipton, Mo.
He was born Jan. 4, 1924, at Hurricane, Mo., son of William Amos and Mary E. Causey Fulbright.
He married Dorothy Bennett on April 2, 1949. She preceded him in death March 28, 2005.
He was a retired cabinet builder and a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Fulbright of Clarksburg, Mo.; a brother, Jess Fulbright of Marble Hill; a sister, Sarah F. Welker of Marble Hill; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Fulbright and the Rev. Jeff Garland officiating.
Burial will full military rites will be at Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown, Mo.
