CHAFFEE -- Lester Acey of Chaffee died Saturday, June 19, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born at Chaffee, Oct. 11, 1937, son of Louis Benjamin Acey and Sadie Eldridge Acey.
He married Pansey Tuttleton on March 23, 1957, in Chaffee. She survives.

He was a member of First Christian Church at Chaffee. He was truck driver.
Survivors include a son, Leslie Acey of Chaffee; daughter, Sherry Dirnberger, Chaffee; brother, James Acey, St. Louis; sisters Charlene Hollis, Scott City and Lee Price, St. Louis; and three grandchildren.
Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
Friends may call at the funeral home today after 2 p.m.
