MORLEY -- Lessie Klingel, 88, of Morley, died Tuesday, June 4, 1991, at her home.
She was born Feb. 22, 1903, at Blodgett, daughter of William and Mamie Bonifield Tippy. She married David L. Klingel March 11, 1925, who died in December 1971.
Klingel was a member of Morley Baptist Church and taught the women's Sunday School class many years.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Klingel of O'Fallon, Bobby and William Klingel of Muskegon, Mich.; a daughter, Margaret Jackson of Oran Route 1; three sisters, Hazel Rose of Roseville, Mich., Ruth Wheeler and Carrie Terry of Warren, Mich.; 13 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Crews-Welsh & Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Delbert Bishop will officiate, with burial in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
