LESLIE MINYARD

DUDLEY, Mo. -- Leslie Lee Minyard, 83, of Dudley died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, at Lucy Lee Hospital at Poplar Bluff, Mo.

She was born June 11, 1917, at Dyersburg, Tenn., daughter of Homer and Mattie George Dildine. She and John Minyard were married Oct. 23, 1937, at Dell, Ark. He died Dec. 24, 1980.

Minyard had liven at Wardell, Mo., before moving to Dudley in 1963. She was a member of Dudley Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Calvin Minyard of Hickory Hills, Ill.; five daughters, Esther Peracki of Valparaiso, Ind., Lucille Millins and Annette Lack, both of Dudley, Margaret Abernathy of Matthews, Mo., and Jannette Brown of Fisk, Mo.; a sister, Geneva Manetz of Piedmont, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Dexter, Mo.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John McFarlen officiating. Burial will be in Shain Memorial Park Cemetery near Fisk, Mo.
