PERRYVILLE -- Leslie A. Leible, 83, of Perryville, died Wednesday, March 27, 1996, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 29, 1912, at Apple Creek, son of Otto and Mary Schnurbusch Leible. He and Leola L. Abernathy were married June 28, 1947, in Cape Girardeau. She died May 27, 1995.
Leible was a maintenance worker at St. Vincent's School, and member of American Legion. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Bass of Perryville; three brothers, Edward and Chalmer "Jack" Leible of St. Louis, Edmond Leible of Apple Creek; two sisters, Anna Winkler of Apple Creek and Lela Abernathy of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Friday, and Saturday from 6:30-11:20 a.m. The wake will be at 7 p.m. Friday.
Funeral mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gerard Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
