LESLIE HARTLE

SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Leslie Hartle of Sedgewickville, 75, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 15, 1918, at Sedgewickville, son of James Thomas Hartle and Molly R. Seabaugh Hartle.

He married Violet Fellows on Nov. 3, 1948. She survives.

He is also survived by a son, Richard "Rick" Hartle of Sedgewickville.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Hartle farmed in the Sedgewickville area until his retirement in 1989. He was a member of the Sedgewickville United Methodist Church. He was charter member of the Sedgewickville Fire Department. He served four years in the Air Force during World War II and was a member of the American Legion at Jackson.

Service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, with the Rev. Howard Hardeman officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. A special honor guard ceremony will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. today.
