Leroy F. Wilke, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born July 25, 1931, in Cape Girardeau, to Herbert and Alma Elizabeth Haunschild Wilke. He and Alberta Faye Biester were married March 4, 1951, in Tilsit.
Leroy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He worked for Brune and Eakers Auto Service Repair and later owned and operated W&L Auto Body Repair, both in Cape Girardeau. He worked and retired from UPS as a mechanic more than 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta; two sons, Michael and Allen Wilke of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Veronica Wilke of Cape Girardeau and Paulette Williams of Jackson; two brothers, Jerry Wilke of Jackson and Eugene Wilke of state of Georgia; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from noon to service time Sunday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Nathan Burgell officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
