LeRoy Wagner, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, July 11, 2004, at Heartland Care and Rehab Center.
He was born Jan. 13, 1943, in St. Louis, son of William Wagner and Ruby Ensley.
Wagner was a self-employed painter. He attended House of Prayer and was a member of Weed and Seed.

He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a son, Anthony Wagner of St. Louis; a daughter, LoRoyce Wagner of St. Louis; his mother of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Susan Brown of Cape Girardeau.
A memorial service will be held at noon Friday at House of Prayer, with JoAnn McCauley officiating. Full military honors will be conducted.
Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
